Congratulations to our employees who were honoured at the British Engines Group Beyond Awards 2024, celebrating milestones and achievements.

The awards acknowledge the accomplishments of apprentices, alongside employees achieving significant milestones for 25, 35, 40 and 45 years at businesses across the British Engines Group.

During the evening, guest speaker, John Beresford MBE, shared stories from his career as a left-back with Newcastle United as part of the legendary ‘Entertainers’ team. His insights and jokes brought excitement to the evening, especially for the Newcastle United fans in attendance!

The evening recognised Rotary Power apprentices Lewis Sewell and Cameron Patel for excelling in their roles.

Lewis received the 2^nd Year Technician Apprentice Award for his work in the fitting department. His supervisors highlighted that he is a great asset to the team, noting that his skills and performance are on par with fully skilled engineers.

Lewis has received positive feedback from several areas within the business, both with the level of support he provides and the way in which it is delivered with a positive and proactive approach.

Cameron received the 2^nd Year Manufacturing Apprentice Award for his work in the maintenance team, his supervisors noted that he is a conscientious employee who has become a valued team member.

As well as excelling within his team, he has achieved a distinction in every lesson for the last two years.  His tutors highlighted that he has demonstrated professionalism, a passion to excel and an excellent attitude.
