Radial Piston Motors
Rotary Power manufactures two kinds of radial piston motors. The first, a typical radial piston cam motor (our XJ, XF and XL motors) that consists of multiple pistons fed under pressure following an external cam track. The second is an eccentric radial piston motor (our SMA motor) where the pistons drive an eccentric shaft. Our cam motor ranges offer a diverse variety of options and displacements with a modular design, enabling both flexibility and standardisation throughout the range.
Our SMA range offers superior high speed, high power capabilities over its rivals with a 30 year proven track record in both performance and reliability. Our in-house design engineers will work with you to customise our motors to suit your needs.
